All funds raised will be split between the choirs' charities:
Hope Nottingham, Motor Neurone Disease Association (Notts Branch)
and Hayward House at Nottingham City Hospital.
To donate to the three charities in one go please use our 'givewheel' donation page (see below)
Due to the bridge closure on the river path between Attenborough Nature Reserve and East Lake, not all of the intended Erewash Valley route ('S' bend on the Trent) can be used - hence the loop to Trent Lock and the two-way use of the Erewash canal path and the Greenway Trail partially alongside the railway line.
Those wishing to join the runners for less than a full marathon can pick up the trail at various locations.
Stage 1 : WBMC 5 miles to Beeston Weir (or join at the Toll Bridge or Sat Bains (cumulative distances in brackets)
Stage 2 : Beeston Weir 3.8 miles to Trent Meadows Nature Reserve (8.3 miles)
Stage 3 : Trent Meadows Nature Reserve 3.8 miles to Trent Lock (circular back to TMNR) (12.1 miles)
Stage 4 : Trent Meadows Nature Reserve 4 miles to Beeston canal hump back bridge (16.1 miles)
Stage 5 : Beeston canal humpback bridge 4 miles to Binks Yard (20.1 miles)

If you wish to run or help with the support on this route please contact Simon Thompson: simonthompson62a@gmail.com
Runners will get at least 5 mintutes R&R at each stop. Cyclists will inevitably get a little longer.
We have volunteers from ECS and WBSS manning each stop. Sweets, fruit, drinks and more will be available.
Cash collecting buckets will also be on hand for donations.
There will be a support vehicle joining the long distance cyclists.
This year we are having two cycling groups; one of 26 + miles following the same route as the marathon runners (see map above)
and one of 52 miles distance that stays to the north and east of the river (see map here).
Paul Graves is the lead for those wishing to join either of the cycling groups. If you are interested in cycling any distance, please contact Paul: paul.graves6

A half marathon walking route is planned, with a chance to join in at various points around the route for those wanting a shorter walk.
Sally MacDonald is the lead for those wishing to participate in the walking.
If interested, in any distance, please contact Sally : sallymacdoodle@gmail.com
You may notice that this route uses some of the same paths as the runners and cyclists doing 26+ miles, so during the final section heading south down and across the Trent all 3 groups may be finishing together in West Bridgford.
